With a positive COVID-19 test, a pharmacist can prescribe COVID-19 treatment quickly for those:

  • At least 12 years old and weigh at least 88 pounds (40 kilograms)
  • Have recently tested positive for COVID-19
  • Have COVID-19 symptoms that began in the last 5 days
  • Have one or more risk factors for developing severe disease
  • Have lab results within the past 12 months that include kidney and liver function

Yes, you can receive treatment for COVID-19 at your Jewel-Osco pharmacy. You must have a confirmed positive test for COVID-19 to receive treatment. Bring in proof of a positive test (a photo of the test is fine), or purchase an over-the-counter COVID-19 test you can take in less than 15 minutes.

No, all test and treat services at your neighborhood Jewel-Osco pharmacy do not require an appointment. If you would prefer to set up an appointment, you can use our online scheduler. 

Yes, you can test for influenza (commonly known as the flu) at home. However, in order for a pharmacist to prescribe treatment, an in-pharmacy test is required. Stop by a Jewel-Osco pharmacy as a walk-in, or use our scheduler to set up an appointment.
